With "Rosie Live!" O'Donnell will be bringing back the variety show format to television, reminiscent of series such as "The Carol Burnett Show" and "The Ed Sullivan Show," while updating the format by including brand-new elements for a new generation of fans. The special will feature a topical monologue, musical production numbers, hilarious comedy sketches and a giant primetime giveaway for the studio audience. The line up of performers is quite stunning. Included on the list are Liza Minnelli, Harry Connick, Jr., Alec Baldwin and Jane Krakowski of NBC's "30 ROCK", Grammy Award winner Alanis Morissette, recording artist NE-YO... and Clay Aiken!
